Default Rear is squirrelly under hard braking?????

I have Stillen sways set at medium front and rear. Track wheels with BFG KDW's. AP6 front brakes and OEM with hawk pad rears. SPC camber rods and toe bolts. Recently aligned well within spec. -1.3 rear camber. Front and rear toe are great. Not lowered. Since the tires, rods, bolts and alignment (500 miles) the car at 70 and up feels loose. Not steady and stuck like before. Under hard braking into a corner the rear is all kinds of loose. Not sliding. Feels like the wheels are coming up off the ground and it is wiggly (word). Nose dive feeling. Any thought and/or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Did you set the toe to ZERO? I run 0.05 on each side (total of 0.10) for a much better feel. Total toe of 0.00 can leave the car feeling a bit squirrely.

Also even thought the big brake kits work with stock rears I think you will get that behavior under extreme braking, when I had only the front Brembo's, I know it is not a front only kit, the rear end would hop and lock up under extreme braking.

Total toe is only .006 or .003 each side. Maybe I need a little more. I agree about the front brakes over powering the back. Would adjusting the sways to hard front and soft back help?

Thanks,
Dan

When talking about toe settings for your car, you mean toe in, correct?

I don't know that swaybar settings would make a difference maybe shock settings if you had adjustables.

most obvious thing to adjust first is tire pressure

second from there would be posting your alignment specs before and after

I can't produce before numbers because Nissan service.....well you know. Went through a whole ordeal when they did alignment after I installed the rods and bolts. To be honest I don't know for sure the read out I got of the after numbers is even real. The guy they had running the machine knew less than I did. Bad sign.

I run 35psi cold. After normal driving it averages 38 - 39 psi and hard driving averages around 40 psi. If the temperatures get up to 80 degrees or so I average around 2 psi more on these psi readings.

Are these good psi numbers??
