Default Tanabe GF210 Springs Installed - Before/After

i won a full set of Tanabe GF210 springs in a my350z contest and finally this last saturday, dan(Llare) was a real trooper and basically installed these things for me while i stood there and retrieved tools. holy crap she sits low. she has been fully aligned at the dealership and rides just as smooth and stable as stock. here's what i noticed in changes.

Hugs the ground pretty good.
Softens up the ride, believe it or not.
Handles like a dream.
Most body roll is gone, not like there was much to begin with.
Scraping isn't near as bad as i thought.

Overall, i am very pleased with the results. only downside i've had so far, gotta be alot more careful entering dips. the drop is 1 inch in the front, and 1.2 in the rear. here's the eye candy. post up comments/questions.

AFTER

unbolted the back portion and had the muffler weld on a downpipe right behind the rear axle. the sound is amazing. i'm doing this as a temp fix until i get the pro-1 i want.

Congrats on winning the springs.

I have the same set and I love them. I wish they were a tad lower all the way around though.

looks good. i was actually just thinking earlier while reading one of the led threads that you really needed to lower your car. for some reason it looked higher than usual. how much did it cost for the downpipe thingy you had made? i agree the car sounds amazing with the muffler unbolted and would like to do the same until i decide what exhaust i want, and save the cash to do so.

30 bucks at kinney's muffler in hurst. they just sawed off the turn up, and welded on the new part.

By any chance, can you get a close picture of your custom exhaust? Does it sound deep&loud like the Pro-1 now? Thanks

Acree do you have the spec sheet from your alignment? i have GF spring as well and i am having trouble getting it back to spec. im sitting -1.8 degree camber now(spec is -1.3-0.2), and shop told me theres no way to adjust it unless i get camber arms.

i wish i did man. this was the first time that i have had a car aligned, so i didn't know that i needed a sheet or they could print one. do you think they have it on record or something? if so, i will go up and ask for a print out. they said it was aligned and everything fell back into spec with little problem.
