Any adjustable camber upper control arms made from aluminum? How about the 350Evo arm?

I think the Cusco, Stillen, and kinetix are chromoly steel. It seems stupid to replace the stock aluminum with steel.

unless the car is a min weight track setup, you'll never notice the difference, IMHO, between alum and steel - what you lose in weight you gain in functionality

I have the 350Evo arm and I believe it aluminum. If its not aluminum is some lightweight alloy that is just as light as the stock control arms.

sorry to thread jack but how durable are the aftermarket arms for daily driving? i mean i barely track the car and my car sees (not all the time) same really bad roads in NYC... will these hold up if i accidentaly hit a pothole or somehthing of that sort?

I believe our arms are the best on the market....... Yes they may be a little more expensive......but you get what you pay for.
There are plently of 350Z's and G35's out there with our arms on them and are just daili drivers.

I can't say enough good things about the 350Evo arms. In my opinion the quality is better than the factor. I have run them plenty on the street and track and not had any problem with them bending or coming loose. The thing I liked best about the arms is the steering is alot smoother and responsive even on the steet alignment. This mod is well worth the money especially if you track your car.

I agree.... 350Evo arm is a great product. they are exlusive in that they they are aluminum, with spherical bearings. I'm getting a set. If you buy the full arm kit is there a spherical bearing kit available for people with the the arms package already to replace the other bearings?

i had the unitech arms, and switched to the 350evo's. look at what i went through to bring them closer to the specification of the 350 evo arms:

i now have the 350 evo arms and i love the adjustment, the quietness, and the smoothness. mostly, i like that they gave me another .5 degrees of positive camber adjustment.

FYI, Unitech is redesigning their A Arms, to allow more NEGATIVE camber!

Kind of off topic......I just bought/got my SPC rear camber arms with toe links. Looking at the included instructions & your install, it appears to me that the slot elongated will move the CAMBER, not the toe. I'll be lowering only about 20MM with the Unitech/Truechoice Koni's soon, so I wish to do it correct the 1st time, but I'm confused.

the bolts in my writeup definitely adjust toe. the camber rods will adjust camber, and the bolts that on the spring buckets will adjust toe. keep in mind that the adjustment points where the suspension attaches to the spindle are off center, so you can never truly adjust camber or toe independent of the other.

exactly...I have the Kinetix toe arm and the SPC camber arm on mine...changing one forces you to change the other, but its not difficult to do....took about 25 minutes to get the side to side measurements exact
