Can't get rear camber into spec -due to wheels?

I did some searching on this, but didn't find anything directly addressing my question. I recently had my alignment done because my rear tires wore down to the metal way to fast (my front tires aren't wearing much at all yet). The guy doing the alignment told me that they wore down because the toe was way out of wack and supposedly he fixed it.

He also showed me that they could not get my rear camber back into spec. :icon8: It was -2.4 on the left and -2.5 on the right after the alignment. From what I understand, 1-1.5 is usually a good rear camber. I have an '04 roadster and the only thing I have done to the suspension is put my 19x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear GT-7 wheels on. I kinda thought that the wheels didn't affect camber that much. Could the rear wheels be responsible for not being able to adjust my rear camber? I'm considering getting aftermarket rear camber arms depending on how my new rears wear. Is there some way to know for sure that an aftermarket rear camber arm will allow for more adjustment to pull in the bottom of the wheel? Any advice?

Thanks,
JasZ

go with SPC rear camber arms and toe bolts..best way to correct everything..

I had the same problem. The car isn't dropped and with my 10.5" wide wheels the inside wore a ton quicker. I picked up a set of spc arms and bolts and set the rear camber at -.75.

Great. Thanks for the advice, guys. I've been looking at the 350Evos or Stillen. Hopefully the SPC arms are cheaper. Gotta save them there expensive tires.
