1-Swaybar setting affects on ROLL 2-Shocks weight transfer?
 

Okay first up...

How much roll reduction do you think I will see by setting my front swaybar from "1-softest" to "2" and then setting my rear swaybar from "2" to "3-firmest". Basically bumping both up to their next stiffer setting.

Next up...

Shocks and weight transfer. I am a big guy. Probably too big for my Z. :\

I am wondering how feasible it would be to run driver's side shocks stiffer than the passenger. And possibly running the driver's front shock stiffer than all.

Basically to help counteract my weight transfer.

What's happening now is when I enter a turn and make a hard right I am getting tire squeal galore plus some noticable roll. When I take a left turn at the same angle and speed I am getting virtually no squeal and only a hint of roll. Mainly a roll off to center actually.

I have checked tire pressures and the factory shocks are still good. So it is my 300lbs causing my dilema.

So besides losing weight, which yes I am working on, do you think driving around all day with shocks setup that way to compensate is feasible?

I'm also wondering about this...

thinking about getting some Hotchkis adjustable sways and wondering which settings I should put them on. medium/medium?

I've had mine on med/med and med/stiff. It depends on what kind of driving you do and suspension you have. I prefur a mild oversteer :icon16: which med/stiff gave me. Setting the sways at med/med felt most balanced and controlable on the street. ;)

I have my Stillens set to med/stiff (front and back). The 350z tends to understeer when thrown in to a corner so this helps make it more neutral. And if you smash the throttle you will get power oversteer galore. But don't think that means you can't enter a turn hot and stay glued. It stays glued, that's what so cool. Nice and neutral.

This setup really makes "steering via the gas pedal" a reality. I love it!!
