Brembo rotors for Non-Brembo's on eBay??
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...ayphotohosting
Anyone every try these? Are these "Brembra's" not Brembro's? LOL... Could they be just generic rotors packaged in Brembro packing? Not a bad price... Any feedback? Do Brembro's just make the rotors for non Brembro's? https://i4.ebayimg.com/04/i/05/64/33/76_1_b.JPG |
just check out the brembo web site and see for yourself. I would do it, but I am to lazy right now.
if your looking for a rotor upgrade there are lots of them around. When I had non-brembo I upgraded to EBC red stuff pads and the EBC rotors. I got the pads and rotors for less than 500 and then added stainless lines to top it off. It was like night and day. |
Brembo website is not user friendly....
Looked all over the site and could not find just rotors....UGGHHH |
try talking with one of their dealers.
|
I'm sure they will answer the phone at thins time of the night....
|
BTW USN....
How's the JWT? Man you are one of the lucky ones!!! I want that KIT!!!! |
There's no way anybody can sell a complete set of all 4 genuine Brembo rotors for that price...
|
I love the JWT TT the torque curve on this kit is amazing, I need to figure out some way of getting a set of 315's on the rear of the car for some traction LOL
|

This thread above is the real thing....I don't even see a cross-drilled and vented design on Brembo's site. I e-mailed the seller asking for better info. I say they are IMPOSTERS!!! |
Those look like cheap Chinese rotors (about 5 bucks each in volume) perched atop a Brembo box. I don't see the holes for jacking off the rotors. And they look more like 02-03 Maxima blanks which will bolt on a non-track Z bu thave a different design.
They are not Brembo sport rotors - brembo does not drill and slot - only one or the other. Other companies buy Brembo blanks and drill/slot themselves - still questionable but at least it's started from a decent blank. And yet other companies simply lie cheat and steal to get your money. Some Chinese rotors are not that bad - they don't last as long but are MUCH cheaper. But I would be pretty wary of these - besides the fact that drilled rotors are kinda silly. |

So far I have no issues. I am using Akebono ProAct Ceremic Pads which are easy on the rotors so I really can't say how sturdy they are. I know SC430 stock brakes are 4 piston brakes Also, when I asked a person where I bought the rotors to see if they had a Slotted/Drilled rotors for 350Z, they told me that Brembo does not make slotted/drilled rotors for the 350Z. They said that it has something to do with contract between Nissan and Brembo. They also said that all the one you see on ebays are companies buying blank brembo rotors and putting holes and slots on the rotors them self using CNC. I am not sure if its true or not but thats what I heard. |
Hey Netko,
It looks like they are very close to my house. Maybe I'll be your ginny pig. I was thinking about getting some new rotors for Z any ways. If I do purchase them, I will give you an update. I just ordered some Project Mu NS Pads from www.projectnissan.com. I think my pads are wearing out too. |
Cool let me know...I never bought them.
PM me! |

we used to have a group buy on this last year. I ordered and used it for a year now. My review is: this is only for short term only. After one year, you can see lots of scratching on the disc. I'll have a close picture later.
