Tanabe GF210's or RSR ti2000
 

Hello all, looking to drop the Z and trying to find a good spring to go with. I dont want a drastic drop where I need to buy a front/rear camber kit for the car. Just looking for a nice drop to fill in some of the fender gap. I'm looking at two springs right now, the Tanabe GF210's and the RSR ti2000. Any pro's and cons between these two springs and why I may want to go with one over the other? Also does one give a much better ride quality vs the other? I'm not going to be taking the car to the track or doing any drifting, it's my daily driver but I like a lowered more aggressive stance. Please share any ideas or if you recommend another spring please share that brand/model.

Tanabe's are actually obtainable right now....RSR, who know's when they will be available again

Do you need a camber kit with the Tanabe GF210's if I do a drop with those springs?

Probably - I have the RSR springs (not ti - advertised drop is .6" f/r) and my front camber is -1.3 to -1.6 degs and the rear is -2.1. -2.1 is the best they could do in the rear. So, the Tanabe's advertised f/r 1.0/1.2" drop with give you more negative camber, how much is the ??

Id recommend going with the Tanabe GF210, the RSR Ti is really not that much lighter, maybe better material quality due to titanium but who really needs titanium springs? You can set your alignment to stock specs as much as possible with GF210's. After my alignment, these are my specs currently

Front Camber -1.3/-1.4
Front Caster 8.4/8.6
Front Toe .04/.04
Rear Camber -1.8/-1.9
Rear Toe .10/.09

Well I may go with the Tanabe GF210's, I've seen some good pricing on those lately.

I had the rsr ti's and the ride was great. A little stiffer and a lot less floaty.
Add about ~.3"-.4" to the drop after they settle though. All springs settle though.
