how much do your stoptech's squeal?
 

Just wondering. Mine are two weeks in with the axiss front pads that came with the kit. I put a decent layer of anti squeal on and it is fine until i hit the 5-10 mph range and come to a gradual stop. That is when i hear noticeably loud squeals. :icon18:

That's the price we pay for having BBK's. If you're not beating the crap out of the brakes, you'll have squel during low speed braking. It's completely normal for aggressive pads.

I hope that "decent layer of anti squeal" was on the caliper side of the pad !!

No offence but iv seen worse---Like the time I told a guy he needed to flush his A/C system before vacuum and recharge and came to find out he flushed it with water.

But ---Hi perfomance components all have there pros and cons. Disc Brakes make noise ---- Thats the nature of the beast.

lol. Not on the caliper side :icon10: hehe. The sound is not all bad, at least it makes people stop and look. Then they have the :icon9: look when they see the 14.1" rotors lol.

Whew glad to hear about the A/S ended up where it belonged---No worrys- Next time maybe try a softer pad.

Better getting attention from the squeal of the pads than attention from the squeal of an old woman getting run over because they just dont work .:medic: --------:rofl2:
