Alignment No Problem? Tanabe GF210's?

Has anyone not had a problem getting their car back in to spec after installing Tanabe GF210's?

I installed the springs along with 25mm spacers F/R last night. I just dropped my car off this morning to get an alignment. The guy was very confident that everything would be fine. I have heard almost everyone on here say it was impossible to get the camber back in spec without a camber kit.

Is this guy overconfident or is it possible that they will get it back in spec?

(Stock 06 wheels, not track)

I have a track day on Sunday, so I am a little concerned.

And they are charging me $120. Seems outrageous to me. What has everyone else paid?

Thanks,
Z

Everyones car is different, but the majority IMO have to get camber arms.. I would take it to them and have them print you out a sheet of how bad it is before you actually have them do it. Most alignment shops should do that for you.

Too late for that. I needed to get it in early this morning to make sure they got to it today. I called about 15 different shops and most of them said they wouldn't touch it because they were afraid of damaging it while getting it on the rack. This particular place had extra long ramps.

Hopefully they will give me the before and after spec. sheets.

Thanks,

wait wait... shouldn't you drive for a few weeks and wait till the springs settle before you drop it? i know a few members here driving GF210 no prob for a year or so now.. no camber..

I agree with monkie. Also getting the car back into factory specs is one thing. But actually getting the alignment back into the right settings for overall performance is another. In your case for the track. I'd like to see a sheet with before and after, if you don't mind.

I would also wait for the springs to settle.
