14" Stoptech BBK on 17" OEM Wheel
Would this be possible? I do have spacers, so that the face of the caliper will clear for sure. I am just not sure about the inner diameter. I was planning on buying a set of the 17" OEM Z rims for drifting sessions. Thanks.

If you know the answer than why would you create this thread? If you don't know the answer to your question than you will find the link i posted very useful. "Kits usually require these minimum wheel diameters: 328mm rotor (12.9 inches) - 17 inch wheel 332mm rotor (13 inches) - 17 inch wheel 355mm rotor (14 inches) - 18 inch wheel 380mm rotor (15 inches) - 19 inch wheel" Even better why don't you use the cutout they have on their site and place it in the wheel to see if it fits. http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/ch...46-2470-02.pdf |
I don't know if the OEM 17's fit the BBK. I do know that some 17" wheels (NOT OEM) fit the BBK as I have seen pictures. I am asking because I would want to use the OEM's as some cheap track wheels. I do not have access to the OEM wheels, so I cannot use the cutout.
Here is one example: https://my350z.com/forum/socal-marketplace/285246-possible-sell-trade-track-wheels-17-5zigen-fn01r-w-advan-a032r.html Yes, Stoptech says the minimum recommended for the 355mm kit is 18", but like I said before, there are 17" wheels that clear. I wouldn't make a thread asking a question if I already knew the answer. Jeebus. |
I have never heard of a 17 inch rim fitting.

to answer your original question, no the 17 inch OEM wheels do not fit a Stoptech 355mm kit
what wheel does fit? I suspect not much, if any. Your best options - Advan RG2, Advan TC2, Volk TE37, - these offer more brake clearance than almost anything out there finding them in stock in a 17 is a whole other deal |
