Anybody lower just the rear?

I have an '04 Z and I just wanna lower the rear of the car so the gap between the tire and wheelwell matches the front tire gap, plus I don't like how the back sits higher than the front. It has 18" rims both front and back, and because the rear sits higher it makes the rear rim look smaller. So what would the best way to go? get a set of lowering springs and just use the rear set, or heat up the stock spring and compress it, or perhaps cut off a coil?

carefully cut the springmount to desired level
search up springmount mod on here or on g35driver (website is down for now though)

It's very straightforward and there aren't any drawbacks to date.

no, no, no, dont heat the springs and start messing with compression!! Just go out and buy a set of springs and install them. Once you start messing with the integrity of a spring bad things can happen.

Cheapest & easiest way is to buy a couple of sandbags and stash them in the spare tire compartment area.
