Will i need coilovers when i get my rims which are 19's

Will i need coilovers when i get my rims which are 19's? What are the best springs and shocks too fit my car? I heard coilovers are pretty good for my car, is that true?

No "need" for coilovers just for rims at least, There are plenty of people on here that have 19's with just lowering springs on stock shocks. Eibach and H&R are good brands or you could go NISMO with the S tune or R tune suspensions they came out with....

You don't need to get anything, I have 19's on stock suspension and it looks great.

IMO coilovers like s-tune and tein are pretty expensive just for the look, but worth it if you are going to track your car.

If you just like the lowered look, get springs like eibach - but I don't think you will need anything.

You do not need to do anything. But I did notice that when I put on my 19's my car raised a little and the gap between the tire and fender looked allot bigger. So I had to drop my car an additional .5 inch on top of the .5 inch it was already dropped.

That seems kind of strange. the radius of the 19" should be the same as the radius of the stock 17" - so the car won't look like a 4x4 and the wheel gap will be the same.

If anything, my wheel gap looked smaller with the new wheels cause they were flushed to the edge of the car.

Could you please post or PM me any pics you might have with the 19's and stock suspension? I'll probablly end up using the Eibach springs down the road but I'd like to get an idea of what we're talking about look wise with 19's and stock springs. Thanks in advance!

You right. The radius is pretty close to stock(aftermarket is slightly larger but not by much). But the gap did "look" bigger compared to stock probably because of the thinner tire. It looked very 4x4ish and that was with the TEIN recommended drop of about .5 inch. So I dropped it some more. Here is a link to my car and another Z with 19's with the TEIN suspension. The other Z is also lower than the TEIN recommended .5inch drop.

How much did you pay for the 19's? Do you think your gap from your fender to your tires is bigger than when you had the stock rims on? I drive a pikes peak white 350 and now im deciding on silver te-37's or gun metal. What do you think? Thanks again for the picture.
