Lowering Springs Picture Thread
I'm pretty sure a thread like this doesn't already exist, so for those who dont know what the drop of a certain spring looks like lets show them!
Post a Picture of your car with your lowering springs, and tell us what kind they are. In the end i can separate them and make each spring have their own category. Thanks, WB |

I cut i believe a little over a half an inch if i remember correctly. here is another pic of the setup. It rides suprisingly smooth.

do u have a rear camber kit? thinking about cutting my rear spring mount too, the gf210 in the rears leave me with a massive assss wheel gap for the rear

Attachment 423379 Attachment 423380 Attachment 423381 Wheels are 19x8.5 +15 fronts, 19x10 +20rear. 255/35/19 front tires and 285/30/19 rear. The wheel gap might not be too noticeable in these pictures, but these are all I have. Only dropped on Tanabe GF210. |
Jammin: yes, you need to do the rear mount mod! It will bring the rear down so that your car will be even all around. I see your wheel gap i have none. I could have cut more if i wanted but thats all i needed to get mine even. As far as ride quality the ride is smooth nothing out of the ordinary. I've had this mod for years and no issues. As long as you have a little bit of rubber left on the mount you will be just fine.
ATTENTION: IF YOU DO THE REAR MOUNT MOD WITH THE GF210 SPRINGS YOU WILL NEED A REAR CAMBER KIT THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT UNLESS YOU LOVE BURNING TIRES BELIEVE ME I TRIED IT, LOL. I WENT WITH THE SPC REAR CAMBER KIT WITH THE TOE BOLT I HOPE THIS HELPED YOU GUYS OUT. |
Yea, I'm considering getting it cut, too. I just want to cut enough to even out the front and rears. Are you still on the stock shocks also?

Yes, im still on the stock shocks also haven't encountered any problems. Invest in a cheap dremel if you dont already have one and use the small round spinning blade. The mount is made up of a mixture of rubber and hard plastic you would think it wouldn't be to hard to cut through but it is with the wrong tools. If you use a dremel its pretty easy.
