Default Where to buy Tein Flex JDM spec

Pretty simple. I've called a few places and the costumer service reps don't seem to have that kind of in depth knowledge of the Tein products. Can anyone drop the name of a sponsor or vendor that can help me out? Very interested with the JDM setup for the softer spring rate.

One other quick question. Will the EDFC work with the JDM spec setup? Searched but didn't find a lot specific to my question. Seems to be what I'm looking for, if not I'll roll the dice with the regular flex kit. Thanks.

Any authorized Tein dealer you can get the kit. They have to take your name and number and contact Tein to get a cost, which I was told by Tein is the same cost as the USDM flex, but they still have to make the call. From that point, when you and the dealer agree, you pay the dealer who in turn places the order with Tein USA. The catch is, the kit is a special order from Japan and you will not only have to wait for enough orders to be generated to fill a containerz(reg US products and your special oder). Once that container ships from Japan, your looking at 6-8 weeks on the water and then shipment to your selling dealer. So,...it,....will,....take,....awhile. The only way to avoid the wait, it to pay for air freight from Japan to the U.S. But that is the process.

Just a thought,
You could buy a used USDM Tein flex setup with EDFC in the $1100-$1300 range and have it revalved and resprung by Tein USA for $740 more. You can give them some suggestion's as far as what your looking for in the end product, that way if the JDM valving isn't exactly to your liking, they'll catch it rework it at that time.

The JDM version uses the same EDFC system as the USDM version.

Great info, thanks for the input.

I'm no stranger to waiting. I'm on my 2nd set of Volks I had ordered locally through a dealer and those took about 90 days easy. I know they won't be on anytime this season or year for that matter, but that just makes the spring that much better. I plan to install an Amuse kit and BBK next spring so all good stuff.

Still no success with finding a vendor that can get me a new set of Tein Flex JDM's. If someone could post up a site that can help me out that would be awesome. Thanks.

Almost sounds like you should buy some Flexes new and have them re-valved/sprung. Much less wait time. It may cost slightly more but it's always time or money. MHO.
