Pressing out rear shock bushing
hi, i've searching but couldn't find an answer.
Has anyone tried to press out the rear shock bottom bushing out using something like a C-clamp? I need to know which tools are needed. This would be way easier than removing the entire knuckle.. |
what the hell...i made a "how to" on this using a harbor freight ball joint tool, but im not finding it......what the....
yes, i did it without having to remove the knuckle....... i have all the images, i may have to remake the "how to".. -J |

Jason, did you use this method for all the bushings?
Terra, can you explain more about how you did this? I've been meaning to get around to doing this. Thanks |

One socket has to be small enought to pull thru the spindle and the other needs to be big enough for the bushing to pull into it. Both sockets will be 1/2 drive , or bigger. |
