Alignment Question

Good morning,

I recently installed coilovers on my Z and got the height to what I thought was perfect. The next day I went and got an alignment... and boy was it all out of wack!! They got it straightened out.. (after breaking a toe bolt and up-charging me 50$). Now the more that I look at it after it being level in a few parking lots I believe my rear needs to be dropped about a quarter of an inch on both sides. Any idea how bad this would affect the alignment, if any? If it would pose to many problems I would probably just deal with it.. I'm just a little OCD :icon39: and would like to drop it to match the front perfectly.

Thanks in advance for any info / advice

Well, depends on whether you have proper alignment adjusters in back or just relying on the limits of stock camber adjustability (as in "none").

If you have camber arms, just drop it the extra amount and have it re-aligned. If not, then you'll probably need to add them. 6-8mm additional lowering may OR may not affect it, can't say for sure without putting hands on it and driving it onto an alignment rack. Should say, it WILL change camber and toe but the question is how much? (Might still be in range.)
