Will stock 17's clear Brembo's?
 

I am trying to determine if the 25mm offset Volk SF Winnings will clear the Stoptech brakes, I was told (by gt3) that the Winnings clear the Brembo's by only a few mm's.

My stock 17's clear the Stoptech's by about the same (few mm's), so I would like to see if the factory 17's clear the Brembo's, if they do, I think the Winning's will clear the Stoptech's....

Any opinions?

Yes, stock 17's clear track brembos. Jewelz350 has them....I have a pic somewhere, but I'm busy now. I think Wespack has them also.

also clears 13" stop techs

Yup, I have the Stoptech's on now. They clear by about 3mm's.

One last question.... The clearance looks about the same (on the Stoptech's and Brembo's), what would you say?

Well, I didn't pay much attention to her brakes! But, I'd guess there is even more clearance with the Brembos, as the rotor diameter is smaller and the caliper is also much smaller. Maybe Mr. Westpac can share his thoughts.:D
