Anyone know the size of the rear brake caliper mounting bolt

I misplaced mine.....

Does anyone know the size of the stock REAR brake caliper mounting bolt. It's a 19mm hex bolt, but I'm not sure off hand of the thread (1.25???) or length (guessing about 2" on that one too). I could go home and measure it but figured I'd ask and hit up an Autozone on the way home if someone comes through in the knick of time.

Thanks in advance.

12 M x 1.25 x 35mm

Kicking up this old thread because I just had a rear caliper bolt related problem on my '03 Touring. I stripped two of my factory bolts after replacing my calipers

The correct size is 12 M x 1.25 x 35mm which is an extra or super fine thread pitch (JIS specification)

I grabbed this set of 5 (guess they assume you are going to misplace one) off Amazon as I couldn't find any locally after trying 3 different stores. This style has a flange head (should be stronger) that is 17 mm instead of 19mm. To maintain the correct length you still need the washer from the factory bolt.

I’d also recommend getting a thread tap and running it thru the caliper to clean out the threads especially on re-manufactured calipers. I got some remain Akebono’s from RockAuto and the threads were VERY tight which I believe is why my factor bolts stripped. Once I ran the tap thru them the new bolts went in nice and smooth with very little torque required. In fact I got them 75% of the way on with just my fingers and only required a ratchet for the last 25%. I also used some aluminum anti-seize so I don’t have to fight them coming back out. I track my car so caliper rebuilds are required more frequently.

Hope this information helps someone in the future as this message was old and yet still offered no solution.
