Just wondering, why doesn't anybody just machine these from an aluminum block? It looks like the most simple design ever.

the cost of having them vectored plus the aluminum 6061 stock itself will run a lot more than what these brackets cost.. not to mention you'd need to buy a set first to have something to work off of.
