A couple of questions if you dont mind...
-Where did these calipers originally come from? Porsche? -Are they refinished? -Do you know the caliper shape or which model pads fit these calipers? -In the thread where you are selling the brackets only, you said that they fit 350mm rotors, then 355mm 370z rotors. Typo? Do you have any pics mounted up to confirm the top of the pad aligns with the outermost portion of the rotor? |
hi these are porsche calipers and I know model pads for them too, they are refinished with new parts, the rotor size is 355mm
I've got same setup in my car and everything works great, will try to shoot more pics at the weekend my brackets were designed for these calipers and this rotor size so it looks and works like factory breaks https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....d27e8ad61a.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....e41f851c5c.jpg |
Thanks for the response. Im sure everything was designed well but pics mounted up loaded w/pads to confirm fitment and alignment would certainly help w the sale. Also listing which Porsche they came from? Can you maybe list the pad number or Brembo caliper shape so pad availability can be confirmed? Not really a secret since you can make any caliper fit w/the right bracket right ;)
I am running a custom brembo gt setup (original gt calipers not mfg) w/345mm rotors on a dedicated track car...my brackets arent as nice as yours. Also the caliper refinish looks pretty good...powdercoat or paint? No doubt this could be a very worthwhile upgrade for the right kind of buyer, since you have done the hard work already. Looks like nice work so far. |
hi, calipers are are powdercoated and comes from porsche cayenne 7p5 , I need to check pads number if you want, uploaded some pics mounted on my Z

Not too shabby. That you designed the kit to use 370z rotors is the best part about it...
