Fist Z (2004 leftover)... I'm happy! and over $2500 below INVOICE

I sure hope it was a good deal... sounded very good... if it was, hopefully you can use it as a reference point to get a leftover for even less!?!?

It's a 2004 Roadster Touring with Navigation, Floor Mats, Splash guards, Net, Aluminum kick plate, Trunk mat...

They showed me an ivoice of $36,298 (matched kbb.com)
We haggled back and forth and they accepted $35,700. Then there is a $2K rebate on top of that from Nissan.

Total for me was: $35,700 + $300 (mandatory Dlr. Conveyance Fee) + Tax & Title - $2,000 rebate.

I plan on using the $2K rebate to buy new wheels and tires... :-)

Edit: BTW it's a 6 speed Silverstone and had 37 miles before I test drove it.
Edit2: I had the choice of either getting $2K rebate OR 1% for up to 60 months (both from Nissan). I paid in full and took rebate.... $2K rebate or 1% was only good on 2004's.

where did you purchase the car.

I live in Los Angeles California, and have never heard of the $2000 rebate. I checked edmunds and kbb and was unable to find those incentives. Maybe it's a regional thing.

I tried googling for a bit and couldn't find mention of it either, I purchased this weekend (April 9, 2005). Not sure if it's regional, but I'm in the NorthEast.

Check the Nissan USA website under finance offers and it will show the specifics.

Newbies first post - it's Sunday night and I literally just got home from picking up my Z. Got a good deal on a 2004 - sticker was $30,098 on an optioned Enthusiast, after a couple of days haggling I got a walk out the door price including TT&T of $26749 including the $2000 Nissan rebate. The actual car cost was $24778. Bingo.

Congrats!!! I'll bet a very similar used Z is selling for close to that on Ebay.

I think this $2K rebate offer is a hot deal, esp. if you can haggle a few hundred (or more) below invoice.
