I'm thinking about buying a Z. My question is, is it good on the track, not drag. I'm wondering if it can keep up with corvettes, porsches, M3's, etc. after some mods.

I'm thinking I want to save up some money and put a vortech supercharger and nismo suspension. I read in Road and track speed magazine that the guy with the axis Z got 1.01g lateral with his setup. I'm not sure if I wanna put the tilton cluctch because some of you guys thinks it might not be to practical for street use since it's pretty aggresive.

It's kinda hard to search in your racing section to find out how people far out with some of the higher end cars but I think this car might have the potential to beat these cars track wise.

I might wait for the GT-R or Supra, if they do show it during the tokyo motor show to save myself the hassle but right now I'm leaning towards the Z.

I want to apologize for my thread because as I looked around I notice what some people where saying around this forum. This is too subjective.

I wanna ask if you guys with turbo charges and superchargers(specifficaly vortech) have been able to keep up or beat any of the higher end cars. I wanted to get vortech because it seems pretty reliable system.

I know this is not a drag superstar but I wonder how it stacks up to the other cars. (after mods)

Did you review the time slips posted in drag racing? Did you research the other cars that you mentioned? What decision have you made?
