Default Buying my first Z!....

Hey guys I'm looking to get my first Z. It's an '03 Touring coupe, 32k for about $21k. Anything I should look for before writing the check? Any advice would be great. I look forward to many hours in front of this forum when I probably should be working in the years to come!

Here is a quick checklist of things to look for.

For more info, just keep reading up on the forums.

It couldn't hurt to get an extended warranty from Nissan either! I would definitely get it if I were buying an 03.

Also, have a competent mechanic check it out.

+1 -- sometimes you can't tell if the car has been damaged until you put it up on a lift.

Agree. A $100 check-up is an excellent investment.

Cool I just got my Z on 9/6/05, and it was a damn sweet day. Try not to lock yourself in if you don't have to on a particular model or color. I originally wanted a 03 DB Touring but ended buying a 03 SS Track. Why? Because it was more important that I found a Z that was properly maintained by prior owner with All service records and was kept in immaculate condition.

Good luck

The car is 3 years old...well considering the 06s are coming. I'd pay 20k max.
