How long do the dealerships keep the 05s around before the 06s come in?
I'm looking to purchase the 05 Touring 350 Z but I dont really need it right now, as I have two months left on my lease.
I've heard from a lot of people that the time to buy is September, because the 06s come out and the dealers take all the 05s off their lots.
Is their any validity to this?
Also, where do they take the 2005 models when the 06s come in? Is that the time to be buying instead of now?

In Canada they don't seem to care. I was offered 2500 above invoice on a 2005 car with paint chip damage and 3700 km's on it. They also refused to negotiate - period. great deal eh?

That's when you say F**k off and go to another dealer. I got my 05 in march for invoice.
I'd reccomend you get the car when it's the best time for you, find a place that WILL negotiate on an 06, it will drop value less quickly than an 05....technically they are already a year old even if you bought it new now.
