Thumbs up I'm a new salesman

Hey folks,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I became a salesman about 3 weeks ago. I work at Foothill Nissan in La Crescenta, so if you have any questions or inquiries, PM me please.

We have a selection of 350z's as well. Not a whole lot- about 8 new and 1 used. We also have the new 07 Maxima's in. But let me know and I will be able to make an impossible deal, possible.

Thank you,

David

gt-r the managers dont know a whole lot about, they are saying we might not carry them (our dealership is known for financing people with low or no credit)

and if you got a base 350z for 31k, yes you got gipped

Z prices range from high 20's to high 30's depending on trim and coupe/vert, how on Earth could you expect someone to answer that question without giving any indication of what your car is?

Congrats on the job! Many salespeople Iv'e encountered only think sales and $$$ and don't know jack about the cars their customers are wanting. I'll stop by and visit sometime.

Question.. Instead of looking like a maniac and beggar, how would I be able to negotiate a price for invoice, either around or under regardless of vehicle popularity?

I've spent countless hours at many dealerships trying to get my fiancee's mother a new car but dealerships would NOT budge under MSRP and only focused on what our monthly payments would be. What would it take for your sales manager to finally give in and drop the price of the car?

have good to excellent credit, let them know you are serious, have a nice down payment (atleast 10% of the car's value).. tell them you will buy today if the price is right.. the price will vary from dealer to dealer because each dealership has different closers.. some closers are greedy and pinch every penny out of you, others are lenient and want 100% customer satisfaction

most dealers will go under msrp.. some even near invoice.. but no dealer will loose money, thats fore sure

our site is www.foothillnissan.com its in La Crescenta, CA .. the site needs to be updated, but atleast you can get the adress if you want to mapquest it or something

C'mon David. Many dealers will go below "dealer invoice", and no they DON'T lose money.

I paid $500 below invoice, plus a $300 "doc fee", so it was a net $200 below invoice. And they delivered the car, 140 miles, no charge. And no, they didn't lose money.

you might have been told you bought under invoice but i really doubt you did... not trying to get into a pissing match. but the ONLY way they will go under invoice is if

1. there is a rebate to get you there
2. they held back on your trade
3. made money on the back end (rate or ext warranty ect.)

no dealer in the country is going to sell under invoice unless money is being made somewhere else

i heard that there are 3 prices. msrp. invoice. and dealerhold back. dealerhold back is something like 500 below invoice. this is how some dealers sell below invoice. true?

" Hello I had lousy credit and was making little to no money at my job. I was tired of using public transportation. No one would even talk to me about credit or a car and even another dealership used mace on me when I would not leave. I had no credit and no car to take my hoes out. I then went to Foothill Nissan and met David and he got me in a new Nissan. David got me a new 350z Roadster and he even threw in some Volks and a Nismo exhaust. Thanks David and Foothill Nissan....
