Question Just getting a idea on selling my Z

My Z is all black, only 17,500 miles on it, not marks, dents, bad paint, etc. Upgraded tired to BFgoodwich KWA 2, DVD player thats NAV ready. Limo tinted windows, short shifter and NISMO shift ****. This is a 2004 performance model

It's been garaged every night and not driven in the rain, (ya I babied this car)

I need to sell because I need something that has more room and where I can hual stuff

The KBB was $24,395 I believe.

When selling a car, which option worked best for you? I.E. Newspaper, have it sitting out front of your house, autotrader, etc.

You are going to sell the same way that people buy cars from private owners: newspapers, advertising in local publications, consignment, ect.

Is $24,395 wholesale or retail?

Is that bad?

People think it's a 06 or newer because of how nice the paint looks as well as the rest of the car, I've been told it looks as good as the day it left the lot.

Well then I was wrong, what I did was go to KBB, and did what a private buyer would pay, and got that. I didn't go to what the dealer would sell it for. Sorry for my mix-up.

The $24k is what a private seller what buy it for, and I did it time and time again to make sure I didn't mess up somewhere.

Thats cool. Then begin the sale at $24,300. If no takers in a month, then drop the price to $23,300.

Consider what you are up against. A 2006 Enthusiast with 0 miles lists for $29,350. It can be bought for $27,020.

LOL. Not in California. Post in the marketplace. Also your regional forum. Photos are critical.

For the people who want to test drive it, how did you guys handle it? Go with them, have them watch how it drives?

I'am pretty sure you wouldn't just hand someone your keys.... Well I'd hope not.

Yeah do the following:

1) Make sure they have insurance and valid license

2) If it's a teenager tell them to come back with a parent

3) Keep the drive short and simple.

4) No launching or speed shifting.

If they don't like it then tell them to take a hike.

So let them drive, or take them on a drive?

Always go with them. You have to let them drive. Would you buy a car if you werent allowed to drive it?

What if they start to get out of hand, or someone starts to go wrong?
