Anyone know how much or what % is Floorplan interest on a Z?
I am trying to build up a fairly priced offer for a new Z and I want to be able to take everything into account. I know Holdback is 2% but I do not know how much or what percentage does the dealer get back from Floorplan interest from the manufacturer?
Following advice I was calculating invoice minus holdback and floorplan, then adding a 3-5% profit for the dealer to get to my offer price. I know its listed on the invoice, maybe some of you who have recently purchased remember?
Thanx

why dont you just offer invoice and be done with it. Its going to end up about the same if you kick all that crap out and add 5% back in.
In the end you are only talking about a few hundred dollars and in the grand scheme of things its nothing.

Actually the hold back for the Z is $1000. I understand the 2% rule but my buddy is a saleman at Nissan and he showed me it was $1000. He wouldn't lie to me because he's only doing this for a month or two while he's in between jobs. I've seen his training material stating this.

I offered invoice but they want to tag a 600 dollar dealer fee (not including tag and title) on top of it which considering that i can get the car trough an online broker for 300 over invoice, doesn't sound like a great offer. Especially after knowing that the holdback is 1K already...

Don't pay a penny of the extra fees. Price of car + TTL is all that you should pay. The rest is all profit. The Z was the only car I could remember from his list that was $1000 for holdback. All the other cars like Maxima, Murano...Titan..etc were $500.
