Well, its listed as enthusiast, but it might be a touring, which would be sweet!

Its got bose and leather...but those could of been added maybe.

Free Carfax is fine but Carfax does not tell you all you want to know.

Spend a hundred bucks or so to have a competent mechanic go through it thoroughly. Otherwise your buying a pig in a poke.

If the Z has Bose, it is probably a Touring model. Look to see if it has seat heaters. If, yes, it is a Touring without question.

Someone check that out and let me know what you think/ what model.
Then let's take two steps back:

Study the model specs so that you can tell the difference before shopping.
If this is a Enthusiasts then forget my replies. They are inappropriate.

Yea, Yea, I know they say be leery of someone (seemily) trying to push something too hard, but I really think someone is going to miss a great opportunity. I have a 2003 Daytona Blue Enthusiast, 6spd 5756 actual/ original miles, it has been garage kept and never driven in any type of weather. It is still covered by the power/drive train warranty until the end of April and could not have been cared for any better. It has never been wrecked or hit and is still show room fresh. It still has the disposable dealer floor mat covers in it which means the mats have never been touched. It was definitely an emotional purchase since I had owned both a 260 and 280 back when I was young. I realize West Palm isn't just down the street from Virginia, but thought you might like to know about it, even though it could add to your dilemma. Paid 29K+ for it (they didn't discount them a nickel back then and I'm asking $19 for it now. There's plenty more to tell if you're interested. loveridge1@comcast.net

Curious question, did you need financing from them? I know when I went to buy my 350z it was originally 17k ( 03 Touring with 73k excellent condition). We got it down to 17,300 out the door TTL (had blank auto loan check). That price seems like a great deal provided its in excellent shape.

Sounds like you are in over your head.
Your opening offer needs to be about 25% under asking price.
I would have started at 15K on the earlier example that you
walked on. I am in Miami and have bought and sold a few 350s.
Expand your search as our local market frankly SUCKS for used
examples. I have found the best vehicles in south/north carolina.
TAKE YOUR TIME.

Well, originally they were asking 22.5, then 19.9. I offered 18.5 out the door, and they didnt take. I walked out, then offered 19.5 and they didnt even want that. I only offered that much (19.5 out the door that is), because i really wanted it. And they STILL didnt take it. So that was rediculous and i forgot about them because they are idiots.

And no, i didnt need financing. I was ready to buy money in hand, no trade in.

BUT it doesnt matter because i just bought a 05 Enthusiast with just over 30k for 19.5 out the door. Carbon silver, awsome shape. Dealership was awsome. So im happy.
