Default A 2003 or 2007....

I wanted ask you all, since I know most of you know more about them than me. I can soon get a 2003 model, or should I wait a year to save up money and get a 2007 model?

The only big differences I really know is that the 07 models come with the dual intake and the 306 hp, 3.5L V6. I just wanna get all of your guys opinion.

Thanks in advance!

I own an 03 and love it. 2007 would get you more Hp. less tq. but overall a better quality car. They added and revised some interior features that the 03's didn't have. If your gonna go all out and mod I guess you could save some money and buy an 03 just my 0.02.

I've got an '03 but if I were buying now I would wait for the '07. No complaints on mine, I'll keep it forever but that's because I am basically cheap

Too many possible problems on the '03s. '07 is higher revving and more juice. I've got an '05 and it's pretty good also if you're looking for cheaper. Similar to the '03 as far as the engine goes with a lot less problems.

Performance wise is there a really big difference? I already know the 07 model has a faster 0-60. What's the other differences?

I have an '07 and absolutely love it! My father had an '03 and it was nice, but my '07 feels more zippy and I believe the overall fit and finish (inside) is a bit better compared to the '03. The '07 headlights are better and there are a few other minor changes. Most noticeably is the hood bulge on the '07, which I prefer, although some others do not.

The OP asked about getting (buying) an 03 or 07.

Where else would it go?

Alright guys thanks for all the responses. I will wait to get the 07. I test drove a 04 a while back and it was a blast, but can see the 07 being even better!!!

It really isn't that much better for the money. With the right mods, you can have a hell of a 350Z.

If you want a great example, check this one out:

Of course, I may be a bit bias.....

the difference in hp easily overcomes the difference in torque, i've raced a pre 07 (i think it was an 04) and i easily beat him even though i was one gear up on him (i was in 2nd, he was in 1st)

07's really aren't that much more than 03, imo, they're more than worth the difference in price...
