Default Need some help buying a Z

Hey

Alright, so I'm new here and I've owned a 300ZX for a while. I'm actually looking to buy a 350Z but I need some help guys.

I'm in Canada and I'm not sure what a good price would be to buy a 350Z at. I've read about the models (base, touring etc..) and to be honest, I just want as my daily driver but also something to have fun with. I'm in no means going to take it to a track or abuse it on the road or anything of that sort.

I've found a 350Z here which has a REBUILT status:

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1069267848.html

I'm not sure if thats a good deal? If anyone can help me with this, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

i don't know if it is a good price, I live in USA So Cal and I got a new 08 350z base for 22,999 m/t. Just knowing that the car was rebuilt the price should be lower.

I got my new 2008 Enthusiast 350Z in February for $25,000, drive out. Not all the dealers here in the Kansas/Missouri area want to deal honestly, but I was lucky. Wish I could advise you on Canadian prices.

Yeah it's a decent deal but then again, it's a REBUILT. I've checked out the "Cars for sale" forum and seen $13k USD for a normal car with no accident or anything.

Also, is it alright to store these cars outside? And drive to university everyday? Does anyone here park their car outside than in the garage?

Thanks!

well if you can, buy a car off here. i hate craigslist and dont really trust anything sold on there. At least here many sellers are good guys and wont screw you over and there are other members that can vouch for a seller. it may be a b*tch to pickup it up or have it delivered.

a lot of people keep their cars outside, i do since i have no room in the garage to park it. just buy a cover and youll be fine. as for driving it to school everyday it really depends on the area. do cars get damaged or stolen a lot around the university?

No sure if blue book applies to Canada pricing. Ask in your regional forum.

it's better not to touch rebuilt car if you dont know how to fix cars.
