Well I was offered 23.5K OTD for a base 08 350Z about a month ago... I didn't take it at the time.

Now I went back and they said "I do remember when we were able to sell the 350Z at that price. Nissan had a 5,000 dollar rebate at the time. Now they have no rebates on the 350Z coupe. The only thing I have that is like that is a pre-owned 2008 350Z with 52 miles on it for 25,995.00."

I don't understand... dealers that have 08 left - must be desperate to get rid of them right? Anyone have any recent good deals?

they obviously aren't that desperate if they are giving you ******** prices like that. it may be true and they may not have any incentives to unload them now. perhaps they are targeting people that wanted the 370z, but see the 08 350's as a cheaper alternative.

dunno what to tell you. the used market prices still own, look for a gently used 07 or 08 at a much better price then the crappy price they fed you there.

Nope, but I don't think that has to do with anything though.

And as you can tell from my post count - I have been inactive for years on this forum. Just recently (past month or so) after hearing about these 08 going for roughly 23-24K OTD.. I was thinking about picking one of these up.

yeah man... they said 30K for a 08 350Z enth. and I just walked out. That's laughable. Apparently without the 5K rebate incentives, they are worth as much as base 370Z.

Wait it out another month.
Nissan usually does these incentive offers every other month.
Try a different dealership, or fax your offer to the dealerships GM.
Stay away from salesmen, they are out to rape you.
