thinking of buying a 350

So ive been looking around for a 350z. i found an 06 in good condition with 30xxx miles on it. Im gonna go look at it soon, what r some things i should look for? I already asked him abut the oil consumption and he said that it hasnt been a problem.

I presume its manual since you asked about oil. Don't trust him about the issue. Check it out yourself (any carbon buildup on the exhaust tips, etc). Some 06s suffer from bad interior material quality (if this is of any concern). My doorswitches mainly, but also other parts of my 06 cockpit look like I tried to kill a cat. Good luck.

Whoa... interior issues with 06s??? I think the interiors are far better than 03-05... this is the first I'm hearing of this?

The oil situation I agree. Just look at the bumper for excessive carbon buildup. However, if the car has HFC or no cats then that visual inspection of the exhaust is irrelevant.
Not all 06s were oil burners
Happy shopping :D

We could name a dozen possibilities. But instead of playing "maybe" games check Consumer Reports.

or... you can check the dipstick... if it looks laquered and not shiney... walk away or buy it and warranty an engine at your local dealership... its not that hard to do

my 07 low 20s at a dealer. but im assuming you want low/mid 20s after TTL?

if I were looking at 06s I would just get a 05 cause they have more TRQ :skidmark::skidmark::skidmark:

First off he is in Canada so there is a price difference between the us and canadian prices on Z's. Secondly the pre 35th 05's are a drivers race between the 06 and honestly the 06 would pull after that torque settles down and you shift at 6500.
