If storage and winter driving is not a BIG Deal to you, get the Z hands down. Much nicer car to drive in good weather, faster, sounds better, nicer looking.
I traded my 05 WRX for an 08 350Z in 2008. besides being inconvenienced for storage space and about 5 - 10 days a winter, im fine.
If you dont have a car you can borrow in the snow or an alternate way to work though, STAY away.

I drive my Z all winter in the snowbelt of Ontario. Don't worry about it. It's a fine car in the snow. I also commute 200km a day to work in the city, and have never not made it into work because of weather.
I plan to drive it year round in Fort McMurray, Alberta when I move there in a month for work.

i am a huge fan of the subie (mostly because of the BOV and rumble exhaust sound hehe). i live in socal so no snow for me => no need to own a awd but one time i drove my Z up to the mountain to do some snowboarding, i was scared. Really, i had to take a turn very very slow and kept the speed below 40. I am by no mean an experienced driver so i am not so confident to drive a Z in the snow
But if you really want the Z, go for it man, there are only 3 months of snowing (assuming), enjoy the rest 9 month driving a sexy car around

I agree with what's been said. Especially those who have advised to not underestimate the lack of space. I'm not usually one that needs to haul lots of groceries or people, but I have had numerous instances in which having the 2 extra jump seats that even a G35/37 coupe provides would have been a big help. Good luck! I love WRXs...they're great cars so either way you can't lose!
