Default 350z or G35 Coupe? (Please help)

Hey guys,

I'm in the market of buying a 350z or G35 Coupe. I really do not know which would be the best choice for me. My price range is anything under or around 10k. I'm not really concerned about the 2 seats in the 350z. I hear the insurance on the 350z is a lot higher than the G because of the two seats though. If you could, tell me the how much insurance would be monthly for the both of them. I like how the Z looks a little sportier than the G but then again, the G is more of a luxury car. By the way I'm 17 with no tickets or accidents.

Thanks for the help!

Again- insurance quotes from people in other states will not be accurate with what you will pay. The best thing is to call an agent in YOUR state and ask for a quote for the two cars and their respective premiums.

BTW- the Z33 has more outright performance than the G coupe, but the G has more luxury features, so those are your major tradeoffs. Both are built on the FM (front-midship) platform with award winning VQ engines, so they are similar from that standpoint.

I know insurance varies, but it can't be that far apart. How much do you think it would be for the Z a month, and the G. Would a reasonable guess be 180-250 for the Z and 130-210 for the G? or am I completely off?

It actually varies alot. I dont see what the problem is with calling up your insurance agent and getting a quote. Just to give you an idea on how much it varies, im paying 125 a month for mine with multicar and home owner insurance. Clean record. No tickets no accidents. My girl is paying 80 for her tiburon. Same discounts. And my cousin is payin 150 for his CAMRY anf 1990 camry. And his 350 is in his moms name and its 50 a month. Theres too many variables. CALL YOUR INSURANCE AGENT. It takes 5 minutes.

Thank you for the help. I'll call them today and see what they say. From what you've told me it isn't as bad as I thought it would be

The basic difference between the 350Z and the G35 Coupe is the Z is a sports car and the G is a sporty coupe. It just depends on what you want. No one can answer your insurance question.............only the insurance companies can answer that.
