350z or G35 Coupe? (Please help)
Hey guys,
I'm in the market of buying a 350z or G35 Coupe. I really do not know which would be the best choice for me. My price range is anything under or around 10k. I'm not really concerned about the 2 seats in the 350z. I hear the insurance on the 350z is a lot higher than the G because of the two seats though. If you could, tell me the how much insurance would be monthly for the both of them. I like how the Z looks a little sportier than the G but then again, the G is more of a luxury car. By the way I'm 17 with no tickets or accidents.
Thanks for the help!

First of all, no need for 2 threads. Secondly, if you dont know which is best for you, how the hell can anyone else tell you which is best for you. Thirdly, insurance varies. so stop being a wimp, pick up the phone, call your agent and get a quote.
Lastly, youre 17, "best car for you" is a civic.

I'm just trying to see what would be a better choice, and I was just looking for a range on the insurance. Also I don't see why everyone has a problem with people under 20 driving nice cars. Just because you couldn't afford it when you were my age doesn't mean you have to bash on everyone else who likes cars at a young age.

FWIW, I had an '04 Z and '06 G coupe under the same insurance policy here in NYC. Just me and my wife on the policy and the insurance for each car was almost the same. The G was slightly less than the Z by about $10-15 a month. Full coverage. Good luck in your search..

Your best bet is to call around to insurance companies and ask for quotes from them yourself. It's going to be a shot in the dark trying to guess your insurance prices based on other people's insurance costs online.
