Looking to buy a Z..
Hi all,
Was hoping to get some opinions on if this is a fair price, it seems to be about the going rate here for this many miles, but figured some second opinons couldn't hurt.
It's $15k for a 2006 roadster, Touring edition with 57,000 miles and automatic transmission. The interior is in good shape except for some small abrasions on the cover thing that I guess is supposed to hide the Nav if it had it. The paint is in good shape except for one small area on the back left quarter panel, probably about 1 inch by 1 inch that's slightly discolored. Stock overything, clean CarFax, SoCal car.
Any opinions would be great, thanks!

I would say that is a fair price for a roadster. 57k miles is good considering the year.

You could probably get the dealership to drop the price a bit if you really worked for it.
What are your plans for the car?

Also, would you opt for a manual transmission? Makes it much more fun

These cars are plentiful, if you keep looking around I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for at a much better price. If you're planning on keeping it stock (or close to it), I would look at '07-'08 because these cars come with a VQ35HR motor and you'll have quite a bit more power right off the bat. You can find a GREAT one with the budget you listed

Thanks, yah I'll see if they'll come down any and if not maybe keep looking. That's good to know about the 07 and 08s! I wouldn't mind having a manual at all, except my wife refuses to learn how to drive them and I'd like her to able to drive this car in case a need arises.

Yeah my wifey wont learn how to drive the standard eather... We have to take the lame-o Camry if I dont feel like driving... But at least it fits a full set of 350z wheels and tires inside.
Im going to teach her one of these days.
I think you could get it for $12k
