Really if you want a project any 350z will be as much of a project as you want it to be... They will handle every last penny you want to throw at it and will come back asking for more. No way you will get that car for $2500... But if you can then go for it.

wtf?! no.

A minor accident doesn't set off airbags. If you're that clueless about cars, how are you going to rebuild one?

Typical baller on a budget.

I would avoid this and buy a 350z that hasn't been wrecked. Why waste the time and effort. 350z's are cheap already and that's for non wrecked vehicles.

Every one of these threads turns out the same way. Some dumb kid asks about a salvage or wrecked Z, he's told repeatedly why not to do it, and then he always argues against the advice. Who cares? Buy the POS and learn a lesson.

Bingo^

Look at that kid on B is for build. Bought a wrecked BRZ, ended up spending like $10k more than if he just bought the dam thing new when he was finished fixing it back up.

I've been burned plenty of times my self, sometimes you win, most the time you lose. Especially if you don't know wtf your doing. I buy these for my money pit and wrench addictions.

If I was looking for a daily and didn't have my Silverado, the auctions would be the LAST place Id be looking.

used 350z are cheap depending on where you live, i'm new to this website but just reading through this "my first thread" my mind is blown. You can get a 350z base with 100k miles for around 5k. If you can't afford to drop 5 grand on a car then the new mountain bike might be a better option.

Sorry for reviving this thread.

salvage title.
pure sale car meaning its being auctioned highest bidder takes it.
EXAMPLE,

My 06 base 350z was in "great running order" off Craigslist. I knew it would need some work dude to its age. A year later just to fix most of what was worn and broke (bushings, control arms, brakes, lights, weather stripping, etc) $3500+. As its turned into a track car this year, im another $3k plus on top of that. and I paid $8k for the car. total as of today $14k plus. I'd buy that car for parts and nothing more.

You probably would have been better of getting a auction car than buying CL lol

Auctions are great for track projects and parts cars.

No so much for dalies
