Default Buying 350z

I am new to the forums.. so i will try my best. I am looking to buy a 350z, I am 17 years old. I have about 4k saved up from working (work as a busboy) currently work around 35 hours a week plus tips. I currently own a 1999 silverado in good condition in which I will sell in order to cover rest of payments for car. My dad is okay with it, insurance wise I will pay as well. Dad said I make enough to pay for insurance, I've had a license for a year now, and have no traffic tickets or anything. Any tips on what to look for when buying a 350z? What year? Worth? Mileage? Thanks in advance

What state do you live in? If it's one that will see snow I would stick with that truck. I had a 350 when I was 21 and a winter car but it sucked financially back then. But to your question, everyone will tell you 07-08 hr is best and it is. But in your budget I would look for the most well cared for lowest mileage Z you can find. Be patient, I looked for my 03 with 40k (2nd car) for over a yr till I found the car I wanted at a fair price. Good luck
