Recently Bought a 350z (With paperwork problem)

Ok so i recently bought a 350z with a title issue great right? So the guy that i bought it from had the title signed by the previous titled owner and the bill of sale signed by the previous titled owner. Nothing was filled out on the bill of sale except the signature. So after i bought it later on i realized that the signature on the actual title wasnt notarized. So i cant bring it to the dmv and register it as my own because 1. the title isnt notarized and 2. its from PA and im from NY so the signature isnt just enough because its from out of state. I have literally no idea what to do with that now. I looked up something called a surety car title bond. But will that actually work for my situation if i told the dmv that I just bought the car without the title instead of telling them that it wasnt notarized. I tried to contact the previous owner through mail but the letter couldn't be delivered because it had to be signed for. Mind you this title was only from about 3 months ago. I looked up the address and it said the house was apparently sold but im just not sure if it was sold to the previous owner because it was sold on the 8th month of this year and the title is from the 9th month. Any suggestions i put it back up on craigslist clearly stating it had no title or it could be used as a track car but i also still want the hope of being able to actually drive the car myself because thats the reason i bought it to begin with. Any feedback would be appareciated thank you.

Seems rather pointless to ask that question here when the ONLY people who can answer it with any sort of definitiveness is YOUR DMV.

Have had title issues before and the DMV sorted me out, no problem.

Im fromy NY and ive never had any signatures notarized on bill of sale or title and never had an issue with dmv. Go to dmv, tell them you want it registered in your name and they shouldn't say anything. My bill of sales usually consist on a blank peice of paper saying "selling year make model with soso miles as is" with signature.
