Default 350z or... 350z Dilemma

Hi guys,
I'm currently in a dilemna trying to choose between 2 350z's, i was hoping you guys could put my mind at ease.
I live in a busy city in New Zealand with lots of stop'n'go traffic, so I've opted to go with an auto (sorry about that).
Both are JDM imports.
Cars are also slightly more expensive here compared to the US.

Car One: NZD$13000 ( USD$8600 )
2006, Spec T.
62000km (38500miles)
Brembos, stock base rims.
Pretty much stock everything.

Car Two: NZD$14000 ( USD$9250 )
2006, Spec ST Type G (cabernet leather interior).
94000km (58500miles)
Brembos and stock Rays 19R,18F.
Fujitsubo legaris-r exhaust
Blitz zz-r damper coilovers

I've heard about how reliable the engine is, but i'm a bit concerned that lightly modded car2 was thrashed because it did come with a radio band scanner installed. The interior of car2 was absolutely prestine however.
Unsure if i should pick the car with the mods, or the car with 20000miles less + $650 to pocket.
I'll definitely be doing a PPI before I buy.

Cheers.

Are these worth 650$ to you?

stock Rays 19R,18F.
Fujitsubo legaris-r exhaust
Blitz zz-r damper coilovers

would you keep those on the car? or replace them or sell them?

Yeah. I would probably end up keeping the mods.

The miles are negligible for a z?

I'm unfamiliar with the Spec T and Spec ST Type G - what are these?

Seeing that theyre both 2006' models - I'd probably go with #2 if it's more exclusive and the reasoning Master Jr said.

I would present seller #2 with a write-up of car #1 and ask him to come down on price and bit.

I found this from another forum.

- Standard/Base does not have Brembos, VDC(vehicle dynamics control), Bose, or Leather but does have TCS(traction control system) .
- T Version does not have Brembos or VDC, but does have Leather, TCS and Bose.
- S Version does not have Bose, leather or TCS, but does have VDC and Brembos.
- ST Version does not have TCS, but does have Brembos, VDC, Bose and Leather.
(Due to additional options or aftermarket parts a JDM may not match any of the above specs).

Spec ST Type G was a special edition ST which came with cabernet-coloured leather interior, Rays rims, fender trim and aluminium kicking plate.

Sounds like a trade off.

#1 - Car has 20k less miles and you have an additional $650 in your pocket, which is much less than car #2's mods would run you if you purchased them.

#2 - Nice set of goodies already installed, beautiful interior, but wallet is $650 lighter and miles are 20k higher

Personally, I would go with 1. The extra $650 bucks, the fewer miles, and the ease of worry that the car may have been beat on would far outweight the couple of goodies that #2 has. That's just me though.

Unless I am missing something about the motors, I would not say they are unreliable. The VQ is meant to exceed 200k miles easily. This motor is one of the most problem-free engines I have ever had in a vehicle. Do they have a problem with oil? yes, but nothing deal breaking. As with anything in life, it is only unreliable if you neglect it and do not car for the car properly.

Either way you will enjoy the ride, so don't beat yourself up on your choice.
