Anyone here use Malm's?

anyone tried Malm's Wax on their Z?

also, how many weeks after the build date can the car be waxed?

Dr Bonz May 29, 2003 02:26 PM

Any time. That 3 month rule is an OLD wives tale. Not necessary on today's cars paint.

Malms carnauba was listed as #37 out of the 46 waxes/sealants in the Guru report which is considered by many as the definitive study on these products.

Thanks for the info Doc,

BTW, what are the top 5 brands of wax according to the Guru report?

All of todays paint is fully cured by the time the car leaves the factory. They use ovens and special lighting to cure the paint.
A friend works for DuPont paint in the Ford truck plant here in Norfolk. He gave me all kinds of good info.

So feel free to detail your heart out.
