my CS looks "clean" but doesn't shine

This is my first car in silver. And after washing and waxing my Z...the car looks clean..but it just doesn't shine with that just waxed appearance. My last 2 cars were Red and Black so there were big noticible differences after waxing. But with Chrome Silver, i just can't notice it. Anyone with CS care to comment? it that inherent property of silver paint? should i try polymer based products?

thanks

I think your refering to that 'Wet' look. Its pretty hard to get on a light color car. On black and red it really stands out without much effort, cause they're darker color cars. Try a polish before waxing, that should smooth everything out to give it a bit more shine. Plus the CS Z that nissan shows off is a different paint, liquid silver, i believe.

I'm about to try Zaino on my CS. WIll let you know if it shines any better. I'm not really unhappy with it as it is though.

Does anyone know if Zaino harms 3M ClearBra ? I assume I just do not do the 3M parts since it will do no good anyhow but if some gets on it will it effect it at all ?

Forget Crystal Guard. I tried it. Go with Zaino.
