I don't have a garage; how to protect the Z?

I live in a really dusty area. I don't have a garage, just a driveway. I was thinking of getting this thing: http://cgi.ebay.com/9-X-17-PORTABLE-...QQcmdZViewItem

Or would a car cover suffice? I don't drive the Z daily anymore because of these RETARDED GAS PRICES.

If you think a car cover is a better idea, could you point me in the direction of a good one? The autozone ones seem to... suck. I had one on my Civic, and it doesn't do much to keep dust and other crap out. It just gets sticky and fuzzy, then the fuzz rubs off onto the car. Ugh.

For the past 4 years, car covers have been a life saver. There are several car cover threads on this page.

That was my thought, I HATE car covers because of having to put them on and off all the time, it's BS. :(

One of these should do it:

Make sure you anchor the ish on that. My buddy had that and barely anchored it down. When the santa ana winds hit the dammn things flew like a kit. Thank god it was only a minor scratch.

I agree about the pain of car covers, i used one on my previous car daily..
Unfortunately it's not hard to scratch the car with a dirty cover, especially if like you say it gets really dusty.
I have one for the Z but have only used it when I've left on a trip for a few days to protect it from bird droppings. I'm scared to use it daily after all the light swirls one created for my old car which was also black. Most likely from it picking up dirt and then it getting dragged across the car while putting it on/off.
If the car's going to sit parked for a while (ie. a few days) then i'd say go for it.... if you're going to use it daily, make sure you wash it often (the cover) to prevent the swirlies....

Check local building codes. You may not be able to put that in your yard.

EDIT: Never mind. The first 30 MPH wind and the shelter will be in your neighbours yard.

I would recommend some ONR (Optimum No Rinse) and a few good coats of Migliore: Original (www.migliorewax.com). If the car is sitting outside I personally wouldn't invest in a car cover, too much of a eyesore for me :).

I intend to screw that damn thing into the concrete. It's not going anywhere.

I have an oem car cover from nissan fits perfect and looks good too, I only drive my car 1-2 times a week on my off days so I only have to put it on once a week so its not much of a hassle for me all depends on your situation
