Removing Zaino's
Hello,
I wished I had purchased my pc before I applied my multi coats of Zainos. I think I have covered over my swirls instead of removing them first. Any thougths on removing the Zainos and starting over? I thought I had read somewhere that you could use rubbing alcohol? No mention was made as to how much to use or how long to leave it on. Car is Redline with 4-5 coats. Thanks in advance. Wilson7136 |
i would try to wash the car with warm water and dishwater detergent. its suppose to get the wax off. just never wash the car with dishwater detergent after that. or you will havce no more wax.

Alcohol will remove it but it's not necessary if you plan on machine polishing - that will strip everything off.
It might be easier to get some Z-PC and use it. It will leave the surface ready for reapplication of Zaino. |

Polish removes old wax.

I wouldn't recommend alcohol. I mistakenly used it when I changed an emblem and it removed some of my paint. Alcohol also has an extreme drying effect, which would probably cause accelerated paint failure.

If you intend to use alcohol make sure you dilute it 50:50 ....alcohol : H2O

call up zaino and ask them, they are very very helpful.
