what's wrong with Turtle wax?

Just wondering why no one uses this. I know it's cheap and probably viewed as lower end wax but I tried some on the rear hatch and didn't see much of a difference between it AND maguires. I have a Chrome silver car.

its a totally different forumula. using caranuba wax instead of a synthetic polymer.

the synthetics offer more durability and appearance, to offer the best appearance and protection.

I dont think meguires makes a polymer wax either.

nothin wrong with it for most people, but if you want the "best", there is no question synthetic polymer waxes are a step above any walmart caranuba brand.

it will do the job. In the long run, it's the guy that simply takes care of his paint that makes the difference. Regardless of what product he chooses. Though, Zaino does have UV protection :D

That's one of the primary reasons I went with Zaino, the UV protection. Given the propensity for red to fade and/or change colors I thought a few coats of Zaino would help. Other added benefit, I can dry my car with a sock (not literally folks, calm down) since all the water sheets off. It's actually difficult to get it and keep it wet while washing. No question the synthetics offer better long term protection.
