What's this "spunk" on my car?
 

Sorry, no pics.

I thought it was just a whole lot of dust on my driver's window, so I washed the car. No luck, its still there. It's not sticky. But to describe what it looks like, imagine if your car was sprayed with soda and it dried on there. But then its not sticky. I felt around the car and there is some of it on my windshield and A-pillar, but its all over my driver side window.

I then got scared and thought someone pissed on my car. But wouldn't the car wash have taken car of that?

Next, I tried some goo gone. No luck with that either. What could it be.... and more importantly, how do I get it off? Worst case scenario, I'm sure a glass polisher with abrasives will take care of it, but what about my A-pillar? I'm screwed if it doesn't get removed with a clay-bar. :confused:

Try to clay bar the window or try a paint cleaner like meguiars deep crystal step 1 or s100 SePC. These are chemical cleaners and don't contain abrasives. Hope this helps.

i had that too... GET IT OFF NOW.. turned out to be egg on mine and it ate some of the paint.
