Zaino'ers....am I just that dumb?

Ok...i got the Zaino starter kit that comes with all the goodies. I read the part where it says a "dime size" of zaino should do the entire car...HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!? I tried that and it seems to wear off on the first 3"x3" section i did...then it felt like i was rubbing the car all dry.

When I use regular wax, I usually use up to 10-15 squirts of wax on the pad to do the whole car.

Zaino application

I believe the intent of Dime Size is referring to the amount you shuld apply to the applicator and spreading this amount as far as it can go..Then repeat it..

I have never read anywhere that says a dime sized dab will do an entire car and I have worked for Zaino since 1998, I think what you are reading is it says to apply a dime size dab to a dampened applicator at A time, not for the entire car. You should be able easily to do a Z car with 1/2 to 3/4 of one ouce of Zaino, the first time you put a coat on the car the paint will take up more of the polish and you will use a little more the first time, and after that it goes on smoother and you will use less.

If you could see one of my Zaino demo days that I put on from time to time you would understand completely how to apply the product in 10 seconds.

What I've learned from Bonz, Kevin O. and others is this....

Dampen your applicator with a couple of squirts of Z-6 first. Work it around the face of the applicator with your finger tips. This is done only initially to get it damp. Makes the first amounts of Z-2, Z-5 go one easier.

Put some Zaino (Z-2 or Z-5) all over the face of the applicator. Try to apply a "dime sized" amount all over the applicator.
Now apply that to the car over an area the size of 2 to 3 ft square.

The goal is to apply the Zaino in a thin as possible layer.

Thanks for the input guys...I'll have to try that. I don't know where I heard a dime size does the whole car...maybe I read wrong but I'll give it another try. I keep hearing how awesome it is so it must be me doing it wrong obviously..lol.
