What's the point? Those are lighter cars with motors with exactly TWICE the displacement as ours which cost TWICE as much.

I think Z's hold their own at the drag strip considering what they come with stock and they aren't really built to be "straight line" cars. |

Think of how many 500whp boosted Z's we have on this site. With the right driver and rubber, every one of those cars is capable of 10 second passes... Still, the z06 is in an entirely different league than a 350z. Not a good comparison. |

The Z06 is on GT-R level. Compare a Z06 to a GT-R. With AWD and bolt-on's (FMIC, new intakes, bigger downpipes, exhaust, boost controller) I'm sure a GTR would be able to get on par with a Z06.
There are 997's running 10's and 9's also. Again, bad comparison IMO, the Vette is a SICK CAR no doubt. |

I was looking into the older FRC's or even the older Z06 405hp years. Even those are are on a diffent playing field. Awesome cars all together.
What 3k on a last bodystyle Z06 and your in the 11's? Chris It was a bad comparo. but gives you an idea... What 3-4 years before cars come stock with 1k rated HP? |
What Im most surprised to see is that other than 2 really high trap speeds on that stock times (grear track/driving/DA)list-the avg is about 122mph. That is much lower than I gave those cars credit for. I know the guy Ranger has always set amazing times on those forums, and he runs at a track 1 hour away from me-Cecil County which is fassttt. Those cars are geared perfectly, have BIG traction and are on avg 200lbs lighter than most TT Z's. Love those cars, but I like to beat em more;)
