Est 1/4 mile
I got a 05 Enth Z with some mods no FI. I was just wondering if anyone could give me a estimated time on what you think my car could run depending on maybe your past runs an what you have done. The only reason i'm wondering is cause i went to the track right as winter was starting an they wouldnt allow me to run due to other brackets taking to long. So basically my shot at running with my mods while it was nice out got pasted up which sucks. I have ran it before when it was basically stock.
The car has gone 14.03's at 101.7 with a 2.2 60" blowing the clutch up an slipping 2nd threw 4th all the way down the track. I did buy it used with 19k, so i expecting alot of things could happen it was also mid summer an 90+ out. That was with Nismo intake an exhaust. Now i have a Spec Stage 2+ clutch, JWT lighten flywheel, trans has been replaced, Strup Headers an MREV2. I'm planning on buying test pipes too before spring time rolls around. I'm only really wondering cause i've seen mid 13 sec runs with not much more done, an my buddy is trying to tell me his G37 would probably beat my car who i'm actually going to the track with spring time. I just dont want to get owned, he's a ok driver..no pro but either am I.

It's hard to guess at numbers man. Not everyone drives the same, not everyone has a wed. car either.
You could see anything from a 13.1 to a 13.9. Who knows, best thing i can tell you is to just wait and go in the spring.

Yeah i figured i'd probably have to wait for spring to figure it out i was just trying to get an idea but your right. Someone who has a factory freak could run a completely different time or if there a better driver.

I don't really think there are factory freaks like that anymore. People like to think there are when they get a 3year old car thats runs better than most 3 year old cars. But cycling the engine through all revs, getting the oil up to temp on EVERY trip, doing the suggested maintenance procedures, and just taking care of the car make it KEEP the speed it came from the factory with better. Most of them will dyno within a % or 2 of one another, hardly enough to call it a factory freak.

I saw the OP had an 05, then quickly forgot as I read through.
I think it could be a drivers race still, is his car auto or stick, is yours auto or stick, is he powershifting (or you?). Theres a lot of ways to pick up or lose a car even on a roll race. Highest trap I saw was a 102, if you trap 101 then its DEFINITELY going to be a drivers race for you.

Maybe i'm wrong those are the only time slips ive seen so far though. With a good driver isnt the 1/4 time for a 03-05 Z 13.8s with a good driver an average driver 14s? Idk trying to do my research it would be nice to actually take it out being now it seems like a whole site is backing that it would be a regular VQ35DE.
