why do my Z always lose grip?
When I race from a dead stop with traction control on or off it always slips. I have a automatic. i always lose a lot of speed when its on. but when i turn it off my car slides around like a snake. how do you automatic Z drivers stop the sliding and launch off correctly?

What model Z do you have? Does it even have a LSD? Consider wider, stickier rear tires. |
i got volks sf challenge 19's 9.5 in front and 10.5 in back. its a touring so it must have everything. when i turn off the vcd it slides like a snake. when it leave it on , the tires lose traction and cuts off gas and lose tons of speed. how do other Z drivers go off perfectly?

I have not driven the auto Z but it sounds like you need to be more gentle on the gas pedal.

Either:
A. You're mashing the pedal to hard and losing traction, or B. Your tires are bald and can't get grip How long have you had the tires? |

What kind of tires? What size? I have 10½" rears with 285 Michelin PS2 tires and find it difficult to get them to break loose. As others have noted - bald tires, hard rubber, too much throttle to quick, all of those work against you. |
it has 50 percent left. i floor it when im about to start. ive driven a m3 smg and when i floor it i still get traction. maybe im smashing on the gas pedal too fast when i start. any tips?

its because our cars have no weight back there, i recently bought some toyo proxie r1r's and i love them. i used to spin 1st and 2nd, it holds up now and just chirps the gears, 3rd chirps too. they arnt very expensive.
